After years of requirements, he improved his game level to match his elite level skills, Terence “Bad” Crawford may finally line up, clearing the threshold set by so many fans and members of the media. This World Boxing Organization Crawford has been ordered to fight the former champion Sean Porter for his welterweight title.

The ball is now on the pitch for Crawford’s Top Rank and Porter’s Premier Boxing Champions. Both parties have 30 days to finalize the deal, otherwise the battle will enter the bidding phase.

Crawford’s connection with Top Rank actually prevented him from competing with most of the well-known figures in the welterweight category, because Porter, Manny Pacquiao, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, and most importantly Errol Spence Jr. have all signed contracts with PBC. This allows Crawford-an undeniable top genius-to work hard to promote himself in the battle with low-quality opponents, while he waits for two promotions to reach an agreement, or with fans hoping to spend his top contract he will move to PBC pursues a battle that defines tradition.

Before the WBO announced the news, rumors spread that Top Rank was seeking to book Crawford against one of their rising fighters, such as the recently crowned undisputed junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor. Mike Coppinger of ESPN According to reports, Crawford fought veteran David Awanesan on October 23.

However, the WBO has forced the hands of the training camp to allow Crawford to choose to fight or give up his title, and Porter will undoubtedly agree to a third chance as a world champion.

Porter won the IBF welterweight belt in December 2013, and after deciding to beat Devin Alexander and losing to Kell Brook in two games with a majority decision, he lost belt. The unanimous decision of Daniel Garcia in September 2018 opened Porter’s second phase as a world champion, ensuring that he lost the WBC championship due to his split decision in the thriller with Spencer.

Crawford is a perfect 37-0 and has been participating in the World Championships since 2014. However, he has never played against a top opponent close to his peak, especially in the welterweight.
